Also known as Mulberry paper, this product is hand crafted using traditional techniques, from the bark of the mulberry tree, a rapidly growing tree common in Southeast Asia. The bark peels off each year, so this is a totally renewable product, an excellent use of what would otherwise be waste. The fibres of the mulberry bark are longer than traditional paper pulp, making the paper strong, durable and also giving the surface texture.
