Made from Sheesham wood (also referred to as North Indian Rosewood) which is a sustainable, fast growing luxurious hardwood, taking approximately 4-5 years to grow, and is sourced from authorised timber mills in India that are under Government protection.

Made by a Fair Trade organisation in Moradabad, Northern India. It was founded in 1986 in response to the exploitation of poor artisans in this area. It has built up an infrastructure that now supports over 500 artisans.
