This charming hanging monkey is made from up to 16 recycled plastic bottles, preventing waste from polluting natural habitats. The eco-friendly production process repurposes over 100 million plastic bottles and uses 59% less energy than standard manufacturing, reducing plastic pollution’s impact on wildlife. Unfortunately for these beautiful creatures plastic pollution isn’t their biggest threat; over half of all monkeys, apes and primates are at risk of extinction because of habitat loss due to humans. Shopping with a conscience goes a little way to reducing this as sustainability is key to saving the planet. It also helps that they are so unbelievably soft and cuddly, unlike an actual plastic bottle ha!
