A joyful handcrafted bracelet bursting with colourful ceramic beads in assorted shapes and patterns. With its bright reds, yellows, greens and pinks, this playful design has a wonderfully nostalgic feel — a little bit like a string of Liquorice Allsorts, but thankfully much kinder on your teeth.

The mix of chunky handpainted beads gives the bracelet plenty of personality, making it a fun accessory for adding colour and character to everyday outfits. Strung on elastic for a comfortable fit, it’s easy to wear alone or stacked with other bohemian-style jewellery.

Finished with brass hooks that are nickel and cadmium free, each bracelet is handmade in India using traditional artisan techniques. Slight variations in colour and pattern are part of what makes every piece unique.

Approximate size: 7cm diameter.

Our Indian supplier is a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation. They design the pieces and deliver the materials to the homes of the women who work for them, who are in the poorest slums around the city. This is done so they do not have to worry about childcare or transport costs. Once the orders are completed, the items are picked up from the women and sent off to be packed for shipment to the UK.

The purchase of this product helps not only supply lots of stable work but allows our supplier to fund their many social projects in their local area. This ranges from planting trees, organising recycling and investment in wastewater management to much bigger projects such as free healthcare to over 10,000 people, funding educational and vocational centres to help people lift themselves out of poverty to sponsoring children to complete their education.
