Handmade in Vietnam using a traditional technique dating back to the 17th century.
Bamboo is soaked in mud for 6 months, and then split into small pieces. It is then curved into a coil and carved into shape. Cashew oil is used to glue it together and make it stronger. Lacquer is than applied several times before polishing.
