Chiangmai Porcelain is based, as the name suggests, in Chiangmai, Thailand. It was founded in the late 1990s and is owned and managed by Sunida, a dynamic lady who is very proud of the quality and unique feel of the products she makes.

Most of her work is sold in the local market, to hotels for instance. There are 27 workers, 70% of them women, all of them being paid well above the local Minimum Wage. Chiangmai Porcelain is a Fair Trade producer.

Recycled newspaper is used for packaging, and they have a water tank for used water treatment.
