Who is SHARED EARTH?

SHARED EARTH is a retailer and wholesaler of fair trade eco-friendly handicrafts. We are a member of WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) formerly IFAT (International Federation for Fair Trade), and we monitor our performance regularly against the ethical standards set by WFTO. Read more >>

Do you sell to trade customers?

Yes, we sell to trade customers.
We produce a main catalogue each year, followed by supplement catalogues later in the year. Contact us for more information or visit our wholesale website.

Product Selection

How do I find and select a product?

Within the online shop, click on the categories in the left panel or at the bottom of the page to browse through our products, or use the search facility at the top left of the page.

Can I see if a product is out of stock?

Our website shows products which are in stock. Stock quantities are updated once daily and therefore may not be completely up-to-date.

Buying

Is ordering from your website secure?

We do not take payment on our website. After placing your order you will be transferred to the website of our payment service provider Actinic Payments which is fully PCI DSS compliant.

How much is the delivery cost?

Within the UK: For orders up to £20 - £3.95
For orders over £20 - delivery is FREE

Can I have goods delivered outside the UK?

Yes our Standard Overseas Shipping charge is £8.00 (plus VAT if applicable).
Please note: Shipping heavy items overseas may incur an additional cost. If this is the case, we will contact you prior to despatch to determine if you wish to pay the additional cost or cancel the order.

When will my goods arrive?

Your goods should arrive within 5-7 working days. Delivery may take slightly than longer than this during busy times, but we will do our best to despatch asap. Overseas orders will take a little longer. Our sales team will contact you if any products are out of stock.

What do I do if I am not happy with any goods?

We will accept return of goods in a re-saleable condition for credit. They must be well packed for return transit. If you wish to return any goods, please contact our sales team who will give you delivery instructions.

Fair trade means giving producers a decent price for their work, ensuring that working conditions are safe, with adequate heat, ventilation, etc. avoiding the exploitation of children, women and other oppressed groups and trying to ensure that trade benefits the community as well as the individual.
